Is anyone researching Elijah and Elizabeth Cook who left Madison Co. AL c. 1841? Came via MO to TX by 1844. In Lamar Co. in 1850. On 1860 census of Collin Co. May be related to Gray in Hunt Co. and Coleman in Collin Co. Elijah Cook b. c. 1814 GA; siblings may have come to TX also. Elijah died after 1860 census, may have been too old for the war, but unknown. Would like to find a researcher or descendant.
