Richard N. BOWEN shot Willie Lee WILLIAMS on September 25, 1929 in New Braunfels, Comal County, TX. at the Mill [then known as the Planters & Merchants Mill]. WILLIAMS died from his injuries on September 29, 1929. BOWEN was charged with murder. In a newspaper article "family trouble" was mentioned as the cause of the shooting. Does anyone have parents or grandparents who remember anything about this incident?
