I am looking for info on the Frank Webb. b.NC ca 1889, who is innumerated in the Comal Co., Tx. census in 1920 with wife Bessie age 27, and "sister" Claudia Tate, age 14.
I think he is my gg.grandfather's nephew.
My gg.grandfather was David Franklin 'Frank' Webb, b. 1850 in Rowan Co., NC. He appeared in Gonzales Co., Tx. in 1881, when he married. He, his wife and children, remained in the area.
By 1900, David's younger brother, Thomas Jefferson Webb, (b. 1862 in Rowan Co., NC) appears in the Gonzales Co., Tx. cencus listed as Tom Webb- widowed, 14 Years. Also in Gonzales Co., Tx. there is a Frank Webb, age 12-boader living in the HH of Dr. John Marion Howell. Dr. Howell's wife, Martha, is my David Webb's wife's aunt.
By 1910, David Webb and family have moved to Caldwell Co., Tx. and living in the HH with them is Frank Webb, nephew age 20 b. NC
This Frank Webb is not located in the 1920 Caldwell, Gonzales, Guadalupe or Hays Couty census', so I feel the one in Comal may be mine. I am interested in sharing information with the family. i would love to know who Thoams Jefferson Webb married, and if there were other children.
In the 1900 Guadalupe Co., Tx. cencus, a few houses away from David Webb and family, is a Ira/Ava (?) Webb, who is living in the HH of Lee Russell as a boarder. Would like to know if she is a sister of Frank's, and what happened to her.
