This is a strange post, but I am using what I have in desperation.
I am looking for the family name of a familty that moved from Mills County, Tx to Comal County. They come from a couple that originally came from Germany, through Galveston, Tx and settled in Mills County for at least a while. This was the second marriage for the woman. Her first marriage was to a Lammers. Her son, Bernard Lammers b. October 13, 1847 in Germany and d. March 21, 1920 in Coke County, Tx was with them. They came over about 1863 with the boy traveling under the step father's name, which is why I can not find him in immigration records. I have been told that either this couple, or their children made the move to New Braunfels.
I am trying such a long shot with this post because I received the above information from a nice lady one day, and the next my hard drive failed. The information was lost and I can not contact her again.
