I am looking for descendants of Alejandro Ochoa Garcia and Maria Josefa Ramirez. They had the following 9 children:
Maria Eulalia b. 02/14/1830
Maria Antonia b. 03/09/1832
Jose Trinidad b. 03/29/1834
Jose Ramon b. 05/15/1836
Maria Del Refugio b. 04/19/1839
Jose Guadalupe b. 10/21/1841
Jose Manuel b. 09/28/1844
Jose Francisco b. 01/16/1848
Jose Vidal b. 05/01/1849
This family were descendants of some of the original settlers of Mier and Guerrero, Tamaulipas, Mexico area. They moved to that area from interior Mexico. Later they would move to South Texas. Records show that they were located in the San Diego (Duval County) area. The 1850 U. S. Census shows them living in Nueces County at that time. However, their surname on census shows up as Garsea.
If you are a descendant of one of the above, please get back to me. Three great-great-grandsons of Alejandro Garcia and their families have been united from a previously posted message. We continue to search for our long-lost primos.
