Ford SWEARINGEN was born 26-May-1906 in Southeast TX (Beaumont, Baytown ??). His father was Edward L. SWEARINGEN who was born in LaPlace, Macon Co., AL abt. 1868 & died in April, 1966 in Corpus Christi, Nueces Co., TX. Edward married abt. 1900 in Corsicana, Navarro Co., TX to Jeannette RUSH of Clio, Barbour Co., AL. They had four children :
1. Edna
2. Ford
3. Clifford
4. Ray
Ford went to work for Humble Oil & Refining in Freer,Duval Co., TX about 1926 and retired about 1980 & moved to Mt. Washington, Bullitt Co., KY where he died in July, 1982. I suspect that he moved to KY to a daughters house.
I'm looking for info during the period of 1935 - 1965 from Freer City Directory & Freer School Anuals for his family.
