Searching for any information about Felix Rodriguez b.abt. 1870. Place UNK. He was my mother's father. My mother was born on Aug.2,1920-21? in Hebbronville,Texas, Dubose Ranch. I cannot find him any in census. He had children with 3 different women.#1 Vicenta Saldana, 3 sons, one should be Augustin,one unk. Jose Angel, 1904, #2 Teresa Ortiz, 1 daughter, Cruz 1907,(Cruz could not have been the daughter of Teresa Ortiz, they were born 3 yrs apart) #3 Rita Ortiz , Bonefacia, my mother. (Rita and Teresa) were sisters. Rita O. (Ortiz) that is in the 1920 census with husband Augustin Rodriguez was suppose to be my mother's mom. We believe that Augustin was one of Felix Rodriguez sons. Rita also had other children in Duval Co. All other Rodriguez in the census might have related, but I cannot seem to link them to Felix Rodrigez. I found all these information at the catholic church in Hebbronville.Some in Duval CO. courthouse. Rita never admitted or denied that she was our g/mother. It seems that a lot of family history was cover by the events that happen in Duval Co. We know that he bought land from Thomas and Julia Dubose in 1921, in Duval Co. and sold it back to them in 1925.
I would like to know if there is more family related to Felix my grandfather. At least when he died. My aunt,Cruz Rodriguez Chapa, was about 8 yrs older then my mother. My aunt told me that Felix died about 1927. Place: unk.
