I am looking for relatives of Corporal Robert L. McAdoo, Jr., US Army Air Forces, of Desdemona, Eastland County, Texas. He was born about 1923. His father and mother were Robert L. and I. Marie McAdoo. He was serving as the radio operator of a C-109 tanker aircraft when it went missing in the China-Burma-India theater of operations on July 17, 1945. He and the rest of his crew were declared "presumed dead" on July 18, 1946.
