My triple great grandfather James Emsley Douglas McAdoo arrived in Bosque Co from NC & then TN circa 1850 which at that time included much of what became Eastland Co in 1858. He had 15 kids up to 1877 so it is likely your Robert L Jr is a great grandson if he was born in 1923. Do you have any more info on him?
