Thank you for your post; I wonder if that was an error on the birth certificate. I had actually phoned this week trying to locate a newspaper article on this; do you have access to one? So far they've not come up with anything. Yes, his cause of death was gunshot per the death certificate. I had found this relative interesting as I had always heard the story he was shot for supposedly runnng bootleg whiskey. The family story goes when they checked the car there was no whiskey in it ... that time. I would sure apprciate any further information. Thanks for what you have already provided! Sandra
