The 1930 census of District 25, in Cisco City, Eastland County, Texas, listed a Mary Newton, age 47. Her household included her daughter Thelma, age 18 and born in Missouri, and her husband C. C. Newton, age 46.

Does anyone know more about this family? Was Mary Newton Mary Russell before she married? Obituaries? Did Thelma marry into the Sjarp family? Any descendants today?
