I am looking for any information on the family of BENJAMIN FRANKLIN GRIFFIN located in Precinct 7 of Ellis Co., Tx. in 1880 working as a farmer.
B.F. Griffin was b. June 1847 in N.C. to THOMAS H. and SARAH STEGALL GRIFFIN. He was raised in Pontotoc Co., Ms. He m. SARAH JONES b. June 1848 in Ms. Three children were b. in Ms. named EMMA JANE, THOMAS SUMPTER, and CARA M. Seven children were b. in Tx. named SARAH ISORA, female infant, MACK FRANKLIN, JAMES A., WILLIAM RUSSELL, RAY I., and CLEM Griffin.
The family was in Mansfield, Tarrant Co. by 1900.
