The only new thing I know is that Walter S. Helms was married to Arrie HIGHTOWER, and I know that Walter was son of Walter C. (Carroll) Helms and his mother is listed as Martha F. Couch.
I also know that Walter S. Helms died in 1948..as is on the Texas death information.
Still wondering how the Dawson children landed up living with Walter S. Helms family. It would help if I knew the name of G.C. Dawson's wife. Was her maiden name Helms?
There is an Arrie Dawson on one of the census of Bert and Georgia Dawson...so where does Arrie come from? How are Bert (Robert? Elbert?) and G.C. Dawson related?
I'll keep searching for pts of C.G. Dawson and also to find his wife's name. Any help appreciated.
