According to articles in Dallas Morning News, Mason Cox was arrested on Thanksgiving 1908 for shooting a man named Page. He went to trial in 1909 and was sentenced to 5 years in prison. The first article names him as "Mason Cox" and later ones name him as "M S Cox". I looked in death records and found "Mason Selma Cox" died on 25 Jan 1940 in Ellis County. 1930 census lists wife of Mason S Cox as Eurie. Notify Administrator about this message?
