I went to Ennis Library today and looked at the listing for Myrtle Cemetery. Sorry, I did not find Thomas or Nancy listed. There are several Ewings listed - Joe Grady Ewing and Emma Laura Ewing, Elizabeth Anne (Beth) Ewing, Ernest Otho Ewing, James L Ewing and Aurelia Merritt Ewing, Maggie Merritt Ewing and Ben Ewing, Loyd Ewing, and Walter H Ewing. When I didn't find Thomas or Nancy in the Myrtle Cemetery book, I check all 11+ volumns for Ellis County cemeteries. I didn't see them in any of the books. There were a several Ewings in the Ferris Texas Cemetery but not the ones you are looking for. I get Texas Death Certs at Dallas Public Library. They are on microfilm and you can make a copy for 25 cents. It helps if you have the certificate number. They are filed in certificate number order (date order). I'd offer to try and help you but I don't have any plans to go in the near future. There is a place on the death certs for cemetery, but sometimes it is left blank. Texas started issuing them in 1903, but I don't think they were consistantly issued until the 1920's. J.E. Keever Mortuary in Ennis has been in business since 1918. Fourth generation of family is now working there. I noticed that the McDonalds that were apparently family members used Keevers. I have never asked Keevers to help with genealogy, but it might be an option. Hope some of this helps. Carol Notify Administrator about this message?
