I'm intrigued that this couple was married "in Alma". Do you know of any connection there? I thought perhaps a grandparent may have lived there. In 1900, Alma was a small community and as far as I know, there was only one Protestant church ever -- originally Methodist, but them more of a community Church. I thought maybe Claudia was married in a grandparent's home there in Alma --- A group of us are working on the families of early Alma and this really interests me. I found both these families in the 1900 census but in Ennis, and the Kendall family in 1880, but also in Ennis. If you know the parents, grandparents, I'd love to work with you on this.
