Judy - thank you for this great bit of street info. It is a big piece of a puzzle - and guess that's why I could never locate Dallas St.
I did find the Sanborn maps but unfortunately looks as if I can't pull them up online - probably need to go the library. You are right - there are lists of those maps and sure do include the years I need.
I do not have the address on "Dallas" street and wouldn't you know - the 1890 census is the only one that is not published on line. But I am SO happy to know the name of the street changed. Hopefully some day soon I can come and see Rogers St. for myself!
