I found a very interesting source of information that I think this site should purchase. Its a four volume set of books containing death, birth and marriage announcements from various El Paso newspapers. This was an attempt by the local genealogial society to bridge the gap in the census record caused by the fire that burned most of the 1890 census records.
The entire set of four books costs only $140. Genealogy.com might already have them in their database, but I have no way of verifying that one way or the other.
