Mary Ann Baxter Walker was born May 1822 in KY and died 3 Jan 1891 ? Texas She is buried in Round Grove Cemetery in Erath County. Her tombstone reads daughter of Samuel Baxter and Catherine
Believe Catherine's maiden name was Butcher.
At the time Mary Ann died they were living in De Leon County -- does anyone know why she was buried in Erath County?
Mary Ann married John Burch Walker in KY and had 6 children === two in KY, one in Illinois and 3 in Missouri. Mary Ann, John and the 6 children moved to TX in 1859.
A son, John Henry, died in 1894 and is buried at Round Grove. A daughter of John Henry's died at 14 years of age and is buried there also.
Does anyone have information on any of these? I will gladly exchange.
