I am searching for info on John Martin Phillips b. 1830 in Harris Co GA and dieing in Erath Co TX. There is confusion on the spelling of his wife's name . It is either Mary E. Wilkerson or Elizabeth Wilkinson. Can anyone shed light on this couple. I am also hunting for anyone having access to old letters known to have been saved by this Phillips family.
John Martin's father was Dr. Pleasant Phillips and his grandfather was Abraham Philips of Rockingham Co NC.
