Texas didn't begin keeping vital records until 1903. That came from the IGI and when it shows the source is a batch number, I believe that is a record for an LDS member submiting material for Temple work. That index began with those Temple submissions in the beginning. Then the extraction project was added later.

Do you have a Family History Center near you? Ask them for some help, if that doesn't work, I would try writing the Family History Library in Salt Lake City. Maybe someone can help you find the correct film number. Looks like it must have been a typo.
