I'm sorry to hear that they are missing the roll of microfilm you need. (Very little of anything was destroyed in the courthouse fire in 1929, so I suspect the fire is not a related to the problem.) The Library of Congress site: Chronicling America has a listing of historical newspapers and who has copies..even single issues. The University of Texas at Austin appears to have microfilm of the edition of The Bonham News which you would need. http://chroniclingamerica.loc.gov/lccn/sn83021337/holdings/ You will either need to have your local library request an interlibrary loan of a film or see if anyone at RAOGC (Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness http://www.raogk.org/) will go to the University and search the microfilm for you.
