Marilyn,
My aunt was married to Henry Ellison of Fort Bend Co., TX. They were the parents of 6 children. Uncle Henry was from Rome, GA.
Did you have any luck when you came to Texas?
Leon County Texas has a lot of Ellisons also. Try their website.
