I am trying to now figure out who the heck was this S W Sims b 1828 and the William F Sims b 1839
My Simeon Oswald White Sims was born Dec 1844 according to the census and died 1928 by family records
The 1860 Jackson Parish La census shows Simeon as age 15
His father was Richard Crowson Sims b 9-22-1820
Richard is buried in Mt Antioch Cem in Limestone Co as RC Sims
supposedly Simeon Died in Freestone Co TX
Simeon had a brother named William Franklin Sims but he was born about 1850 not 1839.
Richard's father was Samuel Sims b 5-18-1799 Rhea co TN but he died in St Clair Co Alabama 2-9-1892.
Simeon for sure(with his father) was found last on this census

(simeon's Wife Was Josephine Rebecca Kimball)
I believe this is Simeon with a 2nd wife this age matches my Simeon as well as his birth place of Alabama.
My ancestor is Simeon's sister Mattie Martha Sims who married Simeon's wife's brother Washington Lafayette Kimball.

I guess i have my work cut out for me trying to identify this SW and William Franklin Sims buried in Freestone Co TX in Cotton Gin Cemetery.
