Looking for information concerning the drowning death of Floyd Thompson in the Trinity River in the 1940s. He was born 1890 to Samuel and Dovie Thompson. He first married Lillie Ethridge and then after she died he married Gladys Speed. He had 3 children, Floyd Thompson Jr, Harold and Billie Marie. I would like to have a copy of newspaper story if possible of this drowning. What date did this happen and where on the Trinity River? Thanks for any help. Marie Anderson
