Little town named DONIE?

Seeking information, any, on the history of DONIE. What railroad line originally ran through the little town in the late 1800/early 1900's.

If Donie is in this county, where is the courthouse located and a good local library.

Would anyone have any info on the HEALD family that migrated to DONIE from MOBILE, ALA. above listed years.

Clement E. Heald was with the RR. The family moved on over to Riverside, Texas and established business in that area.

Thanks in advance,
Most gratefully,
Carol Ann Henderson Young
