Am interested in your Elisha Lewis - do you know who his parents or other siblings are?

I was checking this Freestone Co. site because my ancestor Sidney Clinton Lewis married in Freestone Co. TX in 1878; however, he was born in Pike Co. AL. His parents married in Henry Co. AL before Pike Co. was formed - wondering if by chance these Lewis lines connect since the two locations coincide and the population in AL was minimal in those days?

When did your Lewis ancestors come to Pike Co. (from where)and then to TX?
