Elisha's parents were Thomas Newton Lewis and Mary Ann Minton. Siblings were Jane, Jonathan, Martha, Mary Ann, Robert, and Thomas Newton. Elisha's father was born in Mecklenburg, Co., NC. Elisha never came to Texas but a number of his children came here around 1880ish thru Wise Co. (Decater, TX area). Hope this helps. If you need anything else let me know.
