Looks like Eliza/Lizer/Liza was his second wife, and she was previously married, too.

1910 census Brown Co, TX:

Stone, Charles S., h, 44 M(2) 5 yrs, b AL, AL, AL
" Lizer, w, 38 M(2) 5 yrs, 6 ch, 5 lvg, b AL, AL, AL
" Eller, d, 14, b AL, AL, AL
" Lester, s, 13 b MS
" Austin R., s, 8, b TX
" Houston, s, 4, b TX
" Pansey L., d, 2, b TX
" not named, d, ?/12, b TX
" not named, s, ?/12, b TX

TX Dth Idx 1890-1976:

Liza J. Stone, b 20 Sept 1872, AL; widowed; d 2 Nov 1944, Martin Mills, Van Zandt Co, TX; bur Holly Spring, TX; father Lafayette Lee, AL; mother Martha Tant, AL; informant Roy or Ray Stone, residence Canton [Van Zandt Co] TX. [note middle initial for son Austin was "R"]

I'm not finding Charles, but you can look at the site -- http://search.labs.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html?..#w=;p=2;c=1320964;t=searchable -- You can view digitized copy of original death certificates.

If you go to the Van Zandt Co, TX GenWeb site -- http://www.txgenweb3.org/txvanzandt/ -- And look for Holly Spring. Liza is buried there and so is Charles S.

On the 1900 census Van Zandt Co, TX there is a Sam C. Stone, b May 1865, AL, AL, AL with a wife and several children. The youngest ones are E.A., dau 6, b AL and James L., son, 3, b AL. They could be the two listed on the 1910 as Eller and Luther.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
