Stone, b 20 Sept 1872, AL; widowed; d 2 Nov 1944, Martin Mills, Van Zandt Co, TX; bur Holly Spring, TX; father Lafayette Lee, AL; mother Martha Tant, AL; informant Roy or Ray Stone, residence Canton [Van Zandt Co] TX. On the 1900 census Van Zandt Co, TX there is a Sam C. Stone, b May 1865, AL, AL, AL with a wife and several children. The youngest ones are E.A., dau 6, b AL and James L., son, 3, b AL.
