Here's a little bit I found. The 1930 federal census is the most recent open for public viewing.

1930 census 2911 Gibson, Fort Worth, Tarrant Co, TX:

Beneke, Frank S., hd, 40, md @ 25 yrs, b KS, GER, WI
" Dixie L., wf, 35 md @ 18 yrs, b TX, (?), AR [Arkansas]
" Gordon L., son, 16, b TX
[Frank owns home, value $10,000; occupation pressman/newspaper]

1920 census 1117 Allen Avenue, Fort Worth, Tarrant Co, TX:

Beneke, Frank, hd, 28 md, b -- all blank
" Dixie, wf, 25 md, b TX [unclear], TX
" Gordon, son, 5, b TX

1910 census Tarrant Co, TX:

Beneke, Frank S., boarder, 21, single, b KS - rest is blank [occupation, pressman.]

TX Dth Idx 1890-1976 You can view digitized copy of original death certificats, for free --http://search.labs.familysearch.org/recordsearch/start.html?..#w=;p=2;c=1320964;t=searchable

Frank Snyder Beneke, born 23 Nov 1890, KS; residence Forth Worth; died 2 Mar 1966, Fort Worth, Tarrant Co, TX; buried 4 Mar 1966; Fort Worth; Father, William Beneke; Mother, Caroline Snyder.

You might try RAOGK (Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness) site -- http://www.raogk.org/faq-requesters.htm -- there are several volunteers listed for Tarrant Co, TX. Maybe you can get one to look for obituary on Frank, you never know what will pop up in obits.

This might give you something to work on.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
