There are going to be errors on many of the documents you might review. The person telling the census taker is conveying information as he understands it. Sometimes, he's guessing. Sometimes, they don't know. Sometimes the census taker writes down the wrong thing, etc, etc, You'll get used to it. You have to look at the whole information, not just one instance of it.
