The problem is you have to know the county where the license issued and that's hard. I have a state wide divorce index for Texas but it only goes back to about 1965. We call that part of the court system here for County Clerk Offices. Some counties are online and marriages are searchable but I don't think divorces are? You would think I married in Texas with all everybody knows about me but I actually married in Louisiana. That's the hard part. And then there's Vegas and Mexico....
