I am looking for information on Samuel Hunt. B. 1839 in Fleming County, Kentucky and died april 27, 1873 in Cedar Bayou, Texas. I know his mother's name is Martha and she was born about 1811 in Virginia. Do not know his father's name.
He married Sallie Jane Kitterman in 1868 in Gibson County, Indiana. They had two girls, Jentia and Maggie.
In 1860 Census he is in Martin County and in 1870 he is in Daviess County, Indiana In 1880 Martin County, Indiana Census Martha A. Hunt age 70 born Virginia and both parents born in Virgina living with the two girls Maggie 9 and Jentia 7.
In 1860 Martin County Census Martha Hunt shows up as:
Martha Hunt, age 46, born VA
John, age 19, born KY
Saml, age 21, born KY
Jesse W H J, age 8, born IN
Can anyone help me with this family? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
