Josephine Guidi/Guede m. Herbert Fiedler
According to family lore she immigrated around the age of 12 from Germany on the ship called Neptune possibly to the Port of Galveston-but not sure. She was traveling with an Uncle-name unknown. After arriving in America, she was placed with a family because the Uncle could not afford to raise her. The name of that family is unknown. She was unhappy living with that family so she then lived with a family called Buckholt in Westphalia, Falls Co., Texas
She might have used the surname Fausa.
Josephine was born 1894 Swiss-German border, died 09-25-1981 death certificate shows Josephine Guide Fiedler Frio Co. Texas(hospital) buried LaSalle Co., Texas
Herbert Henry Fiedler b. 3-27-1889 d. 9-30-1978 LaSalle Co., Texas
Children: Tillie, Herbert H., Leander B., Frank W., Raymond C. Welton J., Katherine F., Madeline F., Mary Alice Fiedler
