Thank you so much for the prayers and concern!
I, myself am ok, we are 72 miles west of Houston and did not sustain any damage, but the areas my family (and yours) are in did get extensive damage and they still have no power and very little phone service. I have not been able to reach anyone on a cell phone in the area and a life time friend that lived in League City, phone service has been disconnected so am not sure her home is still there! Have not been able to reach or find her! My family in the Beaumont/Orange area were hard hit in Rita and it is worse with this storm. Thank goodness they evacuated! Please keep everyone in your prayers.
The one person that could probably help you out with your research is Ollie's oldest sister who is still living and even though she is in her 90's she is as they say "as sharp as a tack". If you would like to write to her I will be happy to give you her mailing address or I can get her phone number if you would like to call her.
