Leslie....I couldn't find anything that might help you, but do have a suggestion, if you don't mind. If you can find obituaries for Sarah E. Owens, Francis Marion Owens and Ruby Donald, maybe they might contain clues that will help you regarding Ruby's parents and the location of Roy.

Below is the link for the Collingsworth Library in Wellington, TX. It says they have the Wellington Leader newspaper on microfilm. Maybe a nice library worker or volunteer at the library will lookup the obituaries.

From Texas Death Certificates and Quail Cemetery records online, these appear to be the dates of death for them. It appears Ruby is buried under the name Ruby Owens, so maybe you might mention both possible surnames to the library folks.

Sarah E. Owens - May 5, 1924
Francis Marion Owens - January 16, 1934
Ruby Donald - November 1, 1924
