Brothers Woodson, his family and Jefferson D. Hardy moved to Texas between 1870-1880 from GA. Woodson died around 1880 leaving his wife Mary Susan Hurst Hardy, Benjamin Lee, Columbus G., Charles W., John H., Henry Newton Hardy, James A., & William. They were born in AL, GA & LA. I have found census on almost all of them. Charles and James I'm having a problem.
Jefferson D. I believe is the J. D. Hardy who married Fannie B. Orrill & lived in Franklin Co, TX. He is found on the 1900 census. They had 2 daughters Ethel & Kate. He must have died between 1900-1910 because Fannie married a Stoker on the 1910 census living in Montague Co, TX with daughter Katherine Hardy & looks like a Hardy son. Can not read name. Kate later married Harold H. Hamilton then R. G. McCarthy. She had a stepdaughter Marjorie J. Hamilton.
When she died she left husband R.G. McCarthy and daughter Marjorie J. Hanson, granddaughters Cynthia & Patricia Hanson. Kathryn died in Bristow, OK and buried in Montague Co. TX near her mother. 25 Jul 1895-8 May 1952
