Hello my name is Antonio McMillian of McRae, GA. I'm looking for the descendants of my great-great uncle Thad McRae(1912-1970). He was born in Telfair County, GA as the oldest child of Moses McRae(1893-1975) and Isabell Rogers McRae(1894-1936). He married a woman named Louise in the early 1930's, and moved to Texas probably when his mother Isabell died. He lived in Milam County, Texas for the rest of his life until his death in 1970. From the descriptions of my great-grandfather Daughtry McRae's obit in 1991, Thad's wife Louise was still alive in Texas. My family has said that they had a large amount of children and they still live in Texas. Do anybody here knows of some African-American McRae's that live in Milam County. Most particulary the Cameron area. They may have moved to Austin, TX. I want to contact them about a family reunion. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
