I had an ancestor die in Uvalde Co, TX in 1926. I had a copy of a white on black copy, so it wasn't too clear. When I was in Uvalde, I visited the courthouse thinking to get a clean clear copy. Turns out the copy I had from my grandfather's cousin had come from Austin, and Uvalde had no record of the death. The online 1890-1976 now has his death record. So, if Austin had the record it would seem it should be on the index.

What is the source of dates of birth and death for T.J.? Do you have full date of death for T.J.? On the RAOGK (Random Acts of Genealogical Kindness) site there is a volunteer who will look for obits in Lamar Co, TX, but needs full date of death.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
