I am trying to get documentation for DAR membership through the George Hallmark line. The only thing I have been unable to find is proof of the birth and death of Artie Hallmark in Houston County, Texas. She was the daughter of Oseheth Fisher (O.F.) Hallmark and Lee Nora Satterwhite. There are no birth or death certificates for her. I do know she was my great-grandmother and I have a picture of her grave marker, but that is all I have been able to find. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
