Thanks for your post.

It certainly could be my Joe. I have no one to speak with about it however. All of my ancestors on that side are deceased.I also have no date, as his son (Lawrence)didn't know his birthdate even.

That son lived with us when I was a child and he had been a mule team logger but was too old to have given us any infor about his ancestry.

They were believed to have been originally from Scotland, as his sister (Lula) my grandmother was red haired.
