Good, then the Wilbur who died in March 1976 is the correct one for you and that gives the names of his parents. With that info I think I've found Wilbur.

Who was the informant on Melba's death certificate? It should show the names of her parents, if the informant knew them. If not, then you can obtain a copy of her application for her Soc Sec card. She would have filled that out and the names of her parents should be on there.
