1900 census Montague Co, TX:

" John, s, b June, 1876, 23, sgle, b Italy

" Fred, s, b Feb 1886, 14, TX
[both Mary and son John listed as arriving in U.S. in 1880, here for 20 years]

So, I backed up to Kansas. 1880 census Lola, Cherokee Co, KS:

Category: Name; Relationship to head of household; Marital Status; Gender; Race; Age; Birthplace; Occupation; Father's Birthplace; Mother's Birthplace.

Looks like your "Steve" and the John on the 1900 census. Since son Fred on 1900 census was born in TX, I would guess their father is also buried in Hale Co, TX.

If you go to Hale Co, TX GenWeb site -- http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~txhale/ -- Click on Hale Co Cemetery Records, type Pillow in their search feature. You'll find Mary, and names of her paarents, but not Antonio. I would look at Hale Co Lookups, click on HERE. That sends you to the email form and you can ask about Antonio, no telling how they may have spelled his name when he was buried.

Some of the family seems to go back and forth between OK and TX. Fred is there in 1920, by 1930 he's back in TX and his mother is listed living with him and his family. She's listed as Catherine on that census.

Happy Hunting (^_^)
