First, let me say I have a pretty good photo of Arthur which was taken in September 1958, seven years after "Greatest show..." was filmed. The man you are apparently referring to says "are you nuts?", not "are you crazy?". Anyway, that man looks nothing like the photo. Now for the good news: in those same scenes, there is a man shown several times, he has on a black shirt buttoned to the top. He is looking on as Heston lies hurt, and he is holding a firepot on a pole for light. I believe that is Arthur. That man looks like the one in the photo I have. If you will allow me to, I will mail you a copy of the picture when I have some available. More good news: I have located another living relative of Arthur, who nsays he ended up with all the family pictures, including many of Arthur. I live in Arkansas, he lives in Ft. Worth, so whether I will ever get my hands on them remains to be seen. I bought my copy of the movie through Blockbuster, if you have a store nearby and they do not have it in stock, their store policy is supposed to be they will order it for the customer. I will work with the Paramount link you sent. See what you think about what I wrote. Mike
