I have finally found this man as having his last place of residency in Milam Co per Social Security Death index. He would have been a 1st cousin to my grt gf Wm Cogburn. My mother remembers Charlie (Charles Andrew) from when she was a little girl in Taylor Co and he would come visit the family. The girls loved for him to come visit and make them fried cornbread and they'd have supper with him outdoors as he'd pitch a tent and help work the fields with her family each year. I thought he was in Willacy Co; I find his brother Ed is buried there; perhaps my info was confused or Charlie moved in later years. Who was he living with? Was there more family in Milam? Could anyone give me information on him? My mother remembers him as being a bachelor; did he marry later? Have children? I have an old photo of his father Wm Jasper White if someone would like a copy emailed; he would be the brother to my grt-grt gm Luisa White Cogburn Whisenhunt. I would be so interested in hearing from someone on this gentlemen! Thanks, Sandra
