I'm trying to complete a family history for a friend who is also a distant cousin. I have one important missing person: the mother of Clara May Ralston born in Milam County, October 1, 1891. Her father was Jacob M. Ralston, b. 1854 MO but lived for a time in Waller County before moving to Milam County after obtaining a law certificate. He was the Milam County Attorney between 1888-92. Her mother is unknown but apparently died in Milam County about 1892-1900. Her father married again a Hattie ____ in about 1903. I was hoping to find a cemetery record for the first wife, and any for any children who died young, and a marriage record for the second wife. Who knows? He might have married both wives in Milam also? He was unmarried in 1880 but apparently did have at least one child before Clara, based on an odd probate "minors" record for Ralston minors in 1889. I'd guess this was some kind of death related record for a child who died young. Any help from anyone who can do look ups of cemetery and marriage records, etc. is greatly appreciated.
