My husbands great great great grandparents were Thomas and Susan (Cosford)Tyack . Thomas 1/9/1821 in Peel Township, England. Thomas Tyack came from England when he was 9 yrs old. He died July 12, 1924 at a 103 yrs old. Buried at Mt Avon Cemetery, Lot 168, Rochester, Mich off Soldier Rd. 3rd edition, Space 6. Susan Cosford boran August 13, 1822 in England died Otober 18,1926 at 104 yrs old. Thomas and Susan were married at Spring Hill Church in Canada on September 11,1845. They later settled in Utica, Michigan. They had 7 children. In the early 1880's they came to Utica by covered wagon. Children: Samuel, Chris, Bert Hannah, Frank, Rodolph and Thomas.
I have more info if this is the same Thomas Tyack. And it sounds like it is.
My husband is a descendent of Samuel Tyack, one of Thomas's sons.
Let me know. Diane
