Hi. Your George Fredk John Tyack was my great uncle. His father was Jospeh Paul Tyack, married to Mary Elizabeth Down at Catch Gate, County Durham, on 2.3.1878. (I have the marriage Certificate). Josephs father is listed as William Tyack, a mining Agent. "Uncle George" as I knew him in the late 40`s early 1950s lived with his wife, Maud, at Devonport, Plymouth. They had a son, Bill and a daughter who married and moved to Birmingham, "Win" - I think. George was the yungest of three children, My Grandfather - William Thomas, followed by a daughter Lily and then some years later your George. George stated that he was a result of a return visit of his father (Jospeh Paul) from USA. Joseph Paul then returned to USA and did not come back again. He did have another family over there. My grandfather added the "E" onto my branch of the family.
