I found this old letter with my late aunty, Miss Theresa Tyacks papers & family tree.It is old 1886 and bad in places,So will do my best,The Letter starts. The Tyacks of ST Breock were orginally Roches of Roche.Rouland Roche married a polmaria. Nicholas their son wedded Jane Trevillens (both the Lady of Polmaria for the names for a heroin in a novel, and miss Trevillens love heiresses.)John son of Nicholas Roche married Miss Tliyue? Pentier? of Pengenoue, and John their grandson through their son William took the surname of TYACK, He died at ST breock, and there the family had its home from 1545 to 1610. Amongest the less comman christian names in the ancestral role are Marilyn, Amyas,Beinaia and Ollye. There was a Richard Tyack more than 3 hundred years ago and a walter of nearly 3 centuries since. Lillie Rowe. April 11th 1886 .AD If anyone could tell me anything about this I would like to know ? thank you.
