My grandmother was a Tye.Her name was Ivy Florence Tye.She had a sister, Francis Tye. Their fathers name was George Warden Tye, and their mother's name was ????.She died after giving birth to Francis. Francis lived in Poole. Ivy had relatives in Sevenoaks but I don't know who they were.Ivy married Thomas Ward in 1923.She was 26 and he was 34. Marriage license is registered in Paddington, County of London. Ivy came to US around 1930-1931 Does any of this sound familiar.I'd love to hear from you if it does!!
